Some rare good news

Is the information in the attached links due to relentless good science and conservation advocacy over the years (I’d like to think so) or economic reality (what’s the point in investing money in continuing to destroy mudflats and not develop the resulting land)?

I am not sure.

But it is good news for shorebirds if the words translate in to action.

I hope fervently that this is the case and perhaps we have turned the corner on habitat loss in the Yellow Sea.

If you have been involved in any of the science or conservation advocacy in any form (and there are thousands of us) – thanks.
